What we do

We listen and relate to human beings who are experiencing feelings, states and thoughts that don’t have an easy answer or a ready made home.

You may be at a point in your life where you have questions about how you make sense of yourself, the world we live in, your own inner sense of depth or connectivity.

Outwardly you may be very successful. Inwardly you may experience yourself as disconnected, or lacking language!

  • It can be hard to find skilled places for this experience. If a bone were broken you would seek out a medic. If you wanted to improve your performance, you would engage a coach. If you have a religious practice you would go to a spiritual director.

But if you are experiencing a sense of something that is less easy to diagnose or define, if you feel a need for depth in yourself and in your life, that conversation needs a contemplative partner.

For this life conversation you will need to be met by a human being operating from a deeper and wider frame of reference.

Contemplative companions are skilled and experienced practitioners from the fields of coaching, therapy, supervision and change agency. Fully trained and accredited in their chosen professions, additionally they undertook a 3 year training in Contemporary Spirituality.

Working with existential ideas and philosophies from all around the world they offer conversations that other practitioners may try to frame in terms of psychology, performance, deficit or goals. A contemplative conversation is a skilled way of enabling you to become present to what is difficult to describe and yet feels so real. We call this “being on the edge of the ineffable”. To be able to work in this way your companion has been there. They are dedicated to you finding your own way with these existential, maybe spiritual ways in which life is communicating with you.

Whether you have experienced a profound sense of shift, have concerns for the state of the planet, feel materially fulfilled but existentially empty, this is a place to find refuge and ideas.
